MY COMPANIONS IN 22. (THE MOST EXTENDED VERSION OF THANK YOU NOTE)

Most of you when done reading would say they have seen shorter acknowledgements for books but this is an acknowledgement to my life till now, it deserves some length. There are parts about specific people, others if you get bored please feel free to skip. ( do not complaint later.) Writing Thank you is a great task and a greater responsibility. Especially for people like me who do not use this word very often.

Hello to my whole wide world,

(MY UNIVERSE IS RESTRICTED TO MY PEOPLE.)

It has been a year since I decided to write my first blog. This is very personal. It all does mean a lot to me. I have barely ever written anything that's public and sometimes I guess there is no need for that because this is like my (digital) diary a very few selected individuals should read this. Over the last one year, I have written 5 articles or blog. It was a great experience. Regardless of how many people read the blog.

I learnt a lot. I always had a thing for writing. I always wanted to write but not commercially.  To me, writing has always been associated with emotions and I am really not sure how does one commercialize emotions.  I have written things in my sleepless nights, during tough hours, on my way to somewhere or you can say whenever I felt I should let the words flow. Writing has always been the oil and grease to the gears in my brain. It has been my tool of creativity and ideas. While writing I have most often dived deep into my strange pool of emotions, into the lanes you would barely visit and it is there where you find the most important things in your life. Once into these dives, I can guarantee you one would never get disappointed. You find the most valuable pearls of wisdom here. It is the ultimate task to go there but if you reach there you don't just find words and emotions, there you would see that it is the introspection that was most required. A visitor to these lanes has a lot of clarity in life, has enhanced emotional abilities and could bring their focus back from distractions. We all must write when we feel like. It does not matter if you really have the vocabulary, grammar, content, knowledge or enthusiasm to do it. We should all do it to introspect.

Fortunately or unfortunately (for a few of my friends) I did decide to write this. I know these days long is boring but can't help much. Anyways most people who are going to read this know me to well and my habits. So they are never going to demand an apology.

It was my Birthday yesterday let me also take the opportunity to thank a few people. I have grown ( in age at least) to a 22-year-old.

Should start with my family obviously they have been with me for these 22 years. I am the youngest one in my clan. So I have had my ears pinned to their advice( though sometimes I only listen and do not follow the same.) {It's quite human} These people have a very high ability to understand. A gem of a bunch. Apologies for the mistakes I have made and thank you for your constant, never-ending, selfless support.

Then my friends. Oh! There is an endless list of people here. It's quite difficult to mention all of them but let me take a shot at few.

To my GULLY BOYS. (Akshay, Onkar, Tushar, Hrishikesh, Bhaiya and Gautam) :-

We have probably been together for 18-20 years if not all 22 years.

With time we have been separated by distance but we all are still the same people. We have spent our childhood in each other's company. Glad we are all still in touch. Our conversations are now rare but full of laughter and memories.

To my school friends (Sandesh and Pratik)

I remember the exact date (20 JULY 2004) YES IT IS VERY RARE THAT SOMEONE WOULD. WE SHOULD CELEBRATE PK. FRIENDSVARY. ALMOST 15 YEARS.

Sandesh just a year later. Has been my most dependable ally. A brother. I love him for everything he is.

We have started working. We do talk every day. Meet at weekends. Watch movies. Do a lot of mess together.

Clean that mess together.

Seems like I had the most dependable guys waiting for me. We are still in touch. Always do find reasons and ways to meet each other.

My happy realization is we have spent almost two-thirds of our life together.

A large pool of people I met after school. :- You guys are proof that friendship does not depend on the length of acquaintance.

We have not been together for as long, but you have all made vital contributions while maintaining my faith in friendships.

I know I can count on you in times of need.

I am sure you will count on me when I am needed.

I have always believed an Individual has two important social aspects involved in their making

The first half comprises of their extended family. (parents, siblings, relatives, neighbours and the teaching social lot.) -50% share in what a person becomes.[external factors]

The second half: FRIENDS. Does not need explanations.  50% share in what a person becomes.[external factors]

Because friendships have no underlines. There is no boundary to what friends can share (depending on the depth of their friendships.). These people carry your secrets to their graves and share your sins on earth.
